The Nelsen series of granulated activated carbon (GAC) filters utilize the high-grade, NSF-certified activated coconut shell carbon to produce clean water that far exceeds the industry standards. These GAC filters possess a tremendous capacity to remove not only chlorine and unpleasant odors, but bad water taste as well. The construction of the cartridges allows water to enter at one end and pass through the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting the other end of the cartridge. This up-flow design allows maximum contact between the water and carbon, ensuring maximum adsorption. The strong, durable filter shell allows for reuse and increases the product’s life time.
